Where to recycle compatible toner cartridges?

I used to use a local company for remaunfatured toner cartridges, but he shut down his storefront and has become very unreliable. Also my customers want toners for models that can't be refilled. So with many regrets I've started selling Chinese knockoffs. Now I have a new problem, what do I do with these empties? Nobody seems to want them. What do you do with empty compatible toner cartridges?

Staples or office depot give you in store credit for your empties.. I've brought back all kinds and have had no issues, so far.
