    How much for supplies do you charge on a service call?

    We are considering charging like everyone else does for supplies on service calls...but not sure what the average in our industry is . How much for supplies do you charge on a service call?

    For us, it's built into the labor rate (very minimal).

    Edit: By supplies are you meaning cleaning materials, or PM supplies?

      One of the reasons I quit going to the dealer for oil changes..... "shop fees"

      The higher the total bill, the higher the fee.

        For the cheaper parts (tires, fuser pawls, etc.) we do about double the cost. For the more expensive parts, 25-50% markup, plus shipping cost if it is a bulky and/or expedited item.

        I usually go to a website like precisionroller and then charge a couple dollars less (they have a fairly high mark-up, imo).
        Have you tried turning it off and on again?
