I have a customer that recently just purchased several Kyocera Ecosys M6526cdn's and several Eycosys M2535dn's and asked me what I would charge to put them on a service contract. So, my question is, what would be a fair service contract for my customer and still leave a profit margin for my company for each mfp? My contract would include all toners, parts, maintenance items and labor, my networking charges would be a separate charge. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Those 2 are decent little machines, but i wouldn't put them on service contract. The toner yield is ok for that segment, but the oem toner is too expensive to make some profit from leasing. The lowest price per page you offer them won't be cheap. Pick a price that is affordable to them, but don't let it eat your lunch. -

Thank you, Kyo Fan, you're correct about the toner cost and that's where my question comes in because the maintenance items have a decent yield; also, I am not a fan of aftermarket toners either because to me they are like a game of Russian Roulette.Comment
