    GBC shredder question on magnetic reed switch door mag activation

    Have 2 Gbc shredders with bad reed switces and want to know if anyone has source for ordering these rather than changing whole control board. Any advice is appreciated. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

      Google reed switch and check the sites for the one that matches.
      Is there an electronic parts store in your area?
      Take one there and see if they can match it up.

      I go to mine for a lot of electronic copier parts.
      Much cheaper than ordering from manufacturer.
      Why do they call it common sense?

      If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
