    IC-408 Print Controller

We have a few of these embeded fiery's fitted to KM bizhub pro c5500's that either fall off the customers network and/or dis-connect from the m/c randomly, having read various forums it seems to be common place, my question being has anybody found a cure and why do they appear more stable on Canon products.

Have you upgrade the C5500 to ver12 and the fiery to ver 1.1? This will resolve the drop off issues. If you continue to have drop off issues then you might have a problem somewhere else.

Change defaul netork speed to anything but auto.
      Set network speed to 100MB.
If it still drops then drop speed to 10MB.
Fiery's allways had this problem with Minoltas.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
