Lanier LD 235 / Ricoh aficio 3035 set up scan to FTP on mac 10.6.8

Hi guys, i have connected the new sub client to be able to print from his mac. the customer all use PC, but they have a tenant that has a mac. i set it up with user password thru the ? WIM console on the computer. he also wants to scan to his mac book. i have searched the internet and found a change the scan from SMB to FTP as i was told by Ricoh tech i needed to do. i have entered a terminal command on his mac but of course he left and i didnt have the password. but i want to ask here so i dont screw up something. the command to enter that was for a konica post is : sudo -s launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ftp.plist . does anyone know if this is the correct command and the proper way to do it?? thank you very much for any help, Jim

I ran this command line on my mac with out errors "sudo launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/Ftp.plist"
I still need to prove it out and will be running a test this week.

thank you. i did do it and it seemed ok. gotta have a user password though.
