Today we had a customer call on there Kyocera saying scanning stopped working using gmail. After some research we discovered that TLS1.2 is not tuned on by default and that the sender address did not match the account address. This caused authentication error. The customer wanted there company name as sender not the gmail address so this is how we got around this. In the sender address box we put it in like this. Company Name <----@gmail.com>. In between <> is the actual gmail account address. Now machine authenticates but the senders name is the company name not gmail account name. Just putting it out there if you run into it.
