Have a user (win 7) with several KM printers installed locally, including 1 fax driver. Some of their work must be accomplished via a RDP/Terminal services session. When they login to the server, every one of their print drivers attach except the fax driver. Any ideas on why this is and what can be done to get the fax driver to show up? Server is 2008R2. I'm open to 3rd party software if necessary. TIA Emujo

Re: Terminal Services/RDP
The fax driver is usually more of a software component that has a print driver attached to it than a traditional printer driver. With that in mind, you're not so much trying to push a print driver through as you are an application. -
Re: Terminal Services/RDP
Not sure if it's still true, but I remember Ricoh saying the fax driver should be installed locally on each PC, and not shared.
I think it's more to do with the address book the driver uses than the driver itself.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim HawkinsComment

Re: Terminal Services/RDP
I know in the past that in order to print to a locally attached printer when using terminal services, the driver for it had to be installed on the server that your opening a remote session on. I think that it is still true for Remote Desktop.
