Want to know if the Kyocera scan to utility works on a windows 10 machine and if there is a new version?

Yes, I have used it in 2 locations [they can update they're PCs but apparently not their MFPs]. Installs the same as other OS's. Be sure to set "NSCatCom" in the Firewall exceptions.
