    Mac Printing error on c454...OS10.11

See attached image. Firmware is up to date and I downloaded the latest driver. I had an issue getting it to print single sided and had to go through CUPS to enable it. Is this a MAC problem?20160706_152748a.jpg

Yes, it is a mac problem. you have to go into CUPS and disable double side printing.
You cant disable it in MAC driver and save it. Thats not work, i had seen it often enough.

But otherside, if you install a driver under Windows, you have allways to deselect double side printing
    under default settings.

Reason is new (2008)EU-Order for saving paper.???

Lemme guess....you're printing a PDF.....that was generated on a Windows PC or possibly trying to print a PDF that was compiled with one of Adobe's professional apps but wasn't distilled correctly to a PDF....flattened, fonts collected, etc. (Control+D on PC or Command+D on Mac to get PDF file info in Adobe Acrobat Reader)....it appears there are some non-defined or conflicting colorspace issues within the PDF!

        Ok.

Take the same document you are trying to print and instead of doing a print function, save it as a PDF and then print from the saved PDF. Sometimes when the document is re-compiled with Apple's Preview, it corrects some of these issues and allows you to print. If you were printing from a PC, you could re-compile with BullZip PDF printer.

I'm not that familiar with KM devices but it appears to me that the printer cannot interpret the print data. What print driver language are you using? If it's PostScript is PostScript installed on the printer?

See what happens with a generic ps driver.
