Re: printing to mac from microsoft word wont let you print to mp tray
An old trick is to install the PostScript driver on a Windows PC, perform a test print, then from it, look at the name of the .ppd file used.
Copy that file to your Mac, then point to it as the ppd to use.
Ppds aren't platform specific, as they are a text file.
I had this issue at a Fiery customer who had a dozen or so Macs in their graphics department, and while all the PCs were happy, the Macs couldn't access the 2 lower paper trays or the bypass tray, but only from certain apps. (It was a Canon MFP.)
The above workaround worked like a charm.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim HawkinsComment

You can install the Windows PS driver on your own PC, print with a crossover to it.
The only file you will be printing from your PC is a test file, NOT the customer's file(s).
Copy the correct ppd to a jump drive, and then copy it to a Mac.
There is no need for conversion; as ppds, as I mentioned before, are text files, which can be understood by nearly any OS.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim HawkinsComment
