Church had this machine donated from another customer. Copier is working fine, but they decided to use it for printing, also. Previous customer printed to it, but only through the parallel connection. It is now connected through the network. This network is nothing fancy, there are just 2 pc's in the church, and one is not even connected to the network yet. Just a hub connecting the secretary's computer and the copier. Using the web browser I can connect to the copier with Top Access. It also pings just fine. I can send the top access test pages just fine from the pc, and they print; I can log on as an administrator and make changes, and the machine responds appropriately. However, if I try to print the test page from the driver window, or any documents, they fail to print. I hooked up my laptop via crossover with the same results. If I connect to the printer with a parallel cable, it prints just fine. I got the troubleshooting stuff downloaded from FYI site, so I will be going back later this week when their office is open. It's been 9 years since I did the connectivity training on this unit, and the customers we sold all had IT people, so we just handed over the discs and never had any issues after. I'm hoping somebody has less cobwebs in the brain than I and can give me some additional ideas. Installed driver as a local printer with a tcp/ip port, if that helps any. Thanks in advance, Dave.
