I have a few controllers that I believe are Konica Minolta with web interfaces that say they are AHT OnCore devices. I have some that will print and scan and I have a some that won't. Namely Pi5501 & Pi4700e. I have the ones that print and scan installed in Hitachi machines with the periphrial mode set the same on all of them. Does anyone know if Pi5501 & Pi4700e can scan or are they just printers?

They will scan It takes 128Meg of ram in the print controller and a 32meg ram in the optics section. -
AHT devices are third party devices minolta uses as another alternative for scanning and printing.Comment

I've got the 128MB on the controller and the 32MB in the optics section but it still won't give me a response when I press the scan button on the control panel. Do I need a HDD or something. They print great and there is no delay in the boot. What is the peripheral setting supposed to be at? I'm going to try and reset the NVRAM via DipSwitch settings when I get to the office today.Comment

Wow, that was a big help. Thanks a lot. If I want to fix this I have to downgrade the firmware. Pretty lame it has to be that way. I'm just going to sell these controllers to someone with a Di470. The machines I've been trying them on are Di450/Di550 with Hitachi panels.Comment
