    Bizhub200 Email Authentication

I need to scan to E-Mail with a Bizhub 200 and the E-mail server requires user authentication to send mail (a password). However in the web interface to set up the e-mail scan there is no place to enter a password, therefore I cannot scan to e-mail. It always prints me out an error page that says: "The following document has not been transmitted. Try to retransmit the rest of pages" and it has a copy of the page I scanned below the error. It works fine scanning to my FTP server and SMB locations.

    Here try this:
    1. Login Admin mode on MFP panel.
    2. Select Admin2.
    3. Open "SoftSW setting" and set "SoftSW 380, Bit6=1 and Bit2=1".
    4. Save Settings.
    5. Open "Network Set" and "SMTP Setting".
    6. Set SMTP Server Address (TCP/IP address of Mail Server).
    7. Set "E-mail Address"
    8. Set "SMTP AUTH User Name"
    9. Set "SMTP AUTH Password"
    10. Save Settings.

    Good Luck.

You can also log in as administrator via the web interface and enter your copier account info in the pop3 info input.

          1. Open browser and type in machine's IP ADDRESS
          2. Type in ADMINISTRATOR password - 12345678
          3. Select NETWORK tab
          4. On the left select EMAIL/INTERNET FAX
          5. Enter the account you created in the POP3 USER NAME field, and the POP3 PASSWORD below that, be sure that the AUTO RX CHECK field below that is set to NO
          6. Then on the left click on SMTP and enter your Email server's information
          7. Click APPLY below and test

          Hope this helps.
