New to Xerox machines here.We have installed some versalink machines with no problems but these machine seen to be giving us a problem.SMB scanning does not work unless we use the IP address and email does work eitherway.We get a requested domain not properly configured.we are not running a domain here and most of our installs are small network workgroups.The Kyocera and Oki machines are alot easier to work with.

IPaddress is a DNS issue recheck the DNS settings


To Configure the Requested Domain Name:

1. Open Centreware Internet Services (CWIS). See the Related Content for additional information.
   
   NOTE: Users may be required to login as a System Administrator to view or modify settings within CentreWare Internet Services. If prompted, login using the System Administrator username and password. The default username is admin and the default password is 1111.
2. Click on the Properties tab.
3. Click on Connectivity on the left side of the page to expand the list of options.
4. Click on Setup.
5. Click on Edit next to Wired Connection.
6. Click on Edit next to IP (Internet Protocol).
7. Click on the DNS tab or Show DNS Settings button.
8. Enter the domain name in the Requested Domain Name field.
9. Click on the Apply button. A Properties have been successfully modified message will be displayed.
10. Click on the OK button.
