    XMedius SendSecure

I am just starting to promote a new product from OpenText called SendSecure. This 100% Cloud software has nothing to install other than an app on the copier's LCD panel. SendSecure facilitates the secure sending of any type of file format up to 5 TB. 5TB is approx 6,000 hours of streaming video.

You can send documents scanned from a copier's Doc Feeder, from any web browser, from a plug-in within Microsoft Exchange or from your mobile device. Before download of any document, the recipient must activate and type in a four digit text code. This provides a complete audit trail.

The recipient does not have to install any special software or obtain any kind if license.

For business that deal with confidential financial, legal or healthcare documents, this product helps them meet any/ all regulatory compliances.

The US House of Representatives (Congress), NATO, KPMG and the Banque de France use SendSecure.

Depending on the volume and size of confidential documents sent, the product is not tremendously expensive at approx $2K for a 6,000 credit Starter kit.

Canada's new privacy laws announced today can impose fines up to 5% of a company's annual revenue for failure to protect personal information.

          https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/trudeau-privacy-law-to-level-stiff-fines-for-digital-breaches-1.1523674

Under legislation introduced Tuesday in Ottawa, companies that commit the most serious offenses would be hit with fines worth as much as five per cent of revenue or $25 million, whichever is higher. The government said these penalties would be the strongest among the Group of Seven.

The overhaul comes as jurisdictions around the world strengthen their data protection and privacy laws to regulate the Internet in an increasingly digitized and data-driven economy.

XM SendSecure protects confidential information, personal health information and intellectual property while enabling the secure electronic transfer of up to 5 TB of data. ISO27001 certified.
