Printer Management, Auto Route from Off-line printers?

Hello, been a long while and hope everyone is doing well.
I've been researching for a customer that primarily wants a printer management software that can automatically route a print job to an online printer if the designated one is off-line or in an error state at they desire minimal delay with their need for constant output. Given they have four units its requested that it affordable. I've looked into Streamline NX, but that is rather expensive. I have not found a Streamline NX equivalent of Device Manager NX Lite. I have not been able to confirm that Papercut can automatically route in that way and like Streamline NX is prohibitively expensive given the quantity of units.

Currently I am investigating Rioch InfoPrint to discover what its full capacities are, though the Ricoh Learning Institute doesn't appear to have much on it. My boss was informed that the IM series can perform this kind of management independently without external software, but haven't found anything about it thus far. Dose anyone here have experience with Ricoh compatible printer management or the IM Series with the required auto-routing capability?

Thank you for reading and recommendations.

Follow-me printing is not acceptable (Papercut and others) ?
Sharp Tandem I guess would do the trick but I can't guarantee it.
