    Google Workplace / Gmail

OK here is what I know...
    • Sharp MX2640 configured to scan to email via SMTP2GO account.
    • Machine has been emailing successfully for approx 2 years
    • Client now reports they are not getting emails scanned to their email addresses

    1. Client uses Google Workplace for their email services.
    2. I can scan successfully to email to Yahoo.com, Live.com, gmail.com
    3. I can scan to Google workplace (our dealership uses Google SMTP via workplace just like the client)

Emails sent to clients address leave machine successfully but never arrive in their inbox. Emails are not in SPAM.
Using the Google email log search the emails are not found

SMTP2GO server shows the messages arriving and being processed but never delivered.

I can find no rules or filters in the clients Admin console that would filter out and/or block these emails.

    Any suggestions welcome.

    TIA

Maybe Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is enabled in Google. If so, yo need to make the necessary changes in your SMTP client on your copier.

It is not about the send. It is about the receive. Easy to Check in Gmail under Security.

I can check but I'm unclear how 2FA would affect the receiving of email.

Google Workspace (formerly known as Google Apps and later G Suite).

Sorry, I do not work on Sharp copiers. You should reach out to their tech support.

Actually the changes need to be made in SMTP2GO since that is what communicates with Google Workspace.

If they are using G suite you have to activate the Less secure APS in their G suite settings.

G suite has been replaced by Google Workspace.

Is the copier using the same @customerdomain as the receiving, have you added the cname for it in SMTP2go? You may like to use a different from address on the copier to test
