I am just wondering if i could use ricoh manager nx lite to remotely meter reads the small business ricoh machines at client place?

You would need a VPN tunnel or SNMP trap to access the customer network as Device Manager is just a prettier version of the old Smart Device Monitor which uses SNMP. Routers are going to deny outgoing SNMP to the WAN. It's an old and reliable protocol, but it's not very secure so it's not something you'd want going across the wire.
