Ricoh MP 305+ 304 Code Error

    Hi, Everyone
I'm new with Ricoh printers; I just bought it, and I connected it with my wifi, and I can print with MyPC.
But when I'm trying to scan to my PC, I got error; the connection failed and I'm sure I can see the scanner with print function

I downloaded Diagonize and Correction of Printers to check the errors

I got Cannot communicate with the printer
    Code 401

I'm sure they are at the same network because I can print and strange thing, I can open my web Image monitor through my android phone but cannot open it with my PC

    another thing,

I installed TWAIN V5 Network Scanner from MP 305+SP/MP 305+SPF Downloads | Ricoh Global but cannot see my Printer

Sounds like you might be connecting through the limited capabilities of the SOP display panel. It does allow printing if the PC is close enough and does allow android to access WIM. It does not scan to folder or TWAIN . To do all the things you are not currently able to do, you need to be connected to the CAT5 jack and program a proper IP address information either through WIM or through System Settings on the Control Panel. If you then need to connect by WiFi you will need to buy a Wi-Fi range extender. There are quite a few for under $50.00 US.

The TWAIN driver is pretty much useless with modern software as it only works with 32-bit applications. Try installing the WIA driver instead as there are many modern applications that can use that instead. For the web interface, make sure that the browser on your PC isn't trying to redirect you to the HTTPS version of the page, which likely isn't enabled. Once you're in, turn on the WSD feature ONLY for the scanner. This should advertise it to Windows and let you use it.

The MFP also supports the much easier scan to folder where you set up a share on your computer and the files end up there.
