Security patch for Samba. Samba patches critical vulnerability that allows remote code execution as root | Malwarebytes Labs
Seriously, these are protocols out of the 1980's. Even Apple gave up and defaulted to Samba as their file sharing default back with OS X 10.7.

Re: News from Malwarebytes
Malvertising via brand impersonation is back again
One way to avoid malvertising is to use a browser such as Firefox that when you place your cursor on a link, the actual link is displayed at the bottom of the screen just above the Taskbar. More often than not the entire ad is an image file with an associated link. The malvertiser uses a screenshot of the actual advertiser. I've seem this for decades with fishing emails claiming to be credit card companies wanting me to verify my account information.Comment
