    Paper Port

In Paper Port I am able to add the TWAIN scanner (MFP) that shows up in the list, but when I go to scan it says Cannot Connect To Scanner. Tried rebooting PC, restarting MFP, and swapping out USB cord. Any other ideas?

Can you tell us what make and model MFP you are working with? Are you aware that most if not all MFP TWAIN drivers are 32 bit. They will install on 64 bit systems but need a 32 bit software to access them. I believe Paper Port is currently a X64 software.

See if you can get a WIA driver for the MFP. Many MFP only have network WIA drivers available. WIA is what many dedicated scanners utilize

The make and model are important here as not all MFP can scan to folder over a USB cable. Most modern MFP do have a scan to device option that support USB and SD devices.
