Vista drivers for Canon IRC3220 with Fiery C-1

Anyone know if you can use the XP drivers for the fiery C-1 on a Vista computer?

I had the customer download the drivers from Canon's site, but this customer use Dept. ID & it seems that the Vista drivers for the Fiery C-1 do not have a place to input the ID code.

    Any help is appreciated.

No, you can not use the XP drivers, and yes the Vista drivers support ID codes.

I downloaded a driver from Canon's site and loaded it on my computer to try and see if i can see how you would enter the the code. Does it have a pop up if you try to print?

The driver that was on canon's site basicly looks like a generic Post Script driver, with very few options.

      Thanks for your reply

When job accounting is enabled on the copier a screen will pop up and ask for the ID code and password, you can set the ID code in the settings where it will not ask for the ID code at all.

That looks like the interface for the Canon Controller. The Fiery C-1 driver for Vista looks like the attached image.

Yes, it is the Canon controller from what I remember the C1 is close to it as far as the job accounting. I have a few of them in the field running Vista and using the C1. If I can get by one soon I will get a screen shot of it for you.

I am having the IT person @ this place try the C-2 fiery driver for Vista. I found that it looked more like the origianl XP C-1 driver and thats what she wants to use. Since the engine is the same, I am hoping that this would work.

Everyone @ this place prints to a mail box with a password and a Dept. ID.
