    Scanning with GoDaddy.com email

Had 2 different customers call yesterday saying their copier stopped scanning. One is a C5540 and the other is C2020, they were both using Scan to Email with GoDaddy as their provider. Both said they just suddenly stopped scanning, print is working fine. After re-entering all the data, it started working at the C5540 for about an hour, then stopped again. We couldn't ever get the C2020 to work with GoDaddy so finally set up a gmail address for the copier and it is working fine now. We are going back to the C5540 today to setup a gmail account. Has anyone seen this or know what could be happening.

GoDaddy has two types of mail accounts one goes through Office 365 the other still uses GoDaddy mail servers and yes there mail ports use several ports

There was a time when GoDaddy's smtpout.secureserver.net could use both Port 80 and Port 8080. Came in hand when ISPs like AT&T and a few others blocked the normal scan to email ports.
