Canon IR C3200 with C-1 wont print multiple copies

    Hi,
Got c-1 with windows XP with the canon driver from their site PCL 5.5 ver. 85.5 I think its like the 3 or 4 one down from the top on their imagepass page.
Cannot print more than 1 copy of something when you select "number of copies" in the printer dialog box.
Only one sheet or 1 set comes out no matter what you put in no of copies box.
    Thanks in advance
    Billy

    Paper type mismatch?

Are any of the trays named eg letterhead, thick if so there could be a paper type mismatch causing it just to print one page. Try adjusting driver to match paper type on macine or change tray back to plain paper and test.

        Billy,

Did you happen to resolve this issue? We are having the same problem with the same printer.

        Thanks,

        Keith

You should try the C1 post script driver.

I have a similar issue with an iRC5185 and an ImagePASS-H1.

Everything is latest and greatest on both.

The customer tries to print a 2 page duplex document from a Mac with OS 10.5.sumthin' from InDesign CS4. One page prints just fine, then it just stops printing.

We re-imaged the RIP, reseated the memory, etc, etc.., and nothing changed.

Fortunately, CWS is running on the same Mac, and we can change the number and print as many as we see fit.

Unfortunately, I don't have another account with a similar enough setup to test.

            Weird...

                Thanks, Screwtape,

Was that screenshot from InDesign? I don't remember seeing it.

No! Its from adobe reader. Not to sure if you would have the option. Here's another screen shot where you have to go.

                    Thanks, that's what I thought.

If the operator distills the file to a PDF, it prints just fine.

I tried every setting there was in InDesign, but no "Print as Image" option.

Actually, I kinda like the workaround, print one and use CWS for the rest. It's only a 10 foot walk to the machine. , but it's bugging me as to why this is happening.

I searched the Adobe knowledgebase; tons of issues, but not this one, and yes, it happens with multiple files, Unfortunately, only one Mac on site that has InDesign.

That might be the only option.Try some other PS drivers from adobe.

I'm really thinking that this is an issue with how InDesign CS4 parses the PPD file, so changing the driver may be the ticket.

The customer has no issue with InDesign CS3; they just upgraded.

Sadly, this customer isn't 'zactly the most savvy color customer I have - creating a PDF may be a bit too much for them.

No there are no 64 bit drvers for C1
Try using a Colorpass PS driver. GX100,GX200,GX300. Those are 64Bit compatible.
