Konica Minolta Bizhub C300 IC-406 Fiery

    Hi all,
i'm installing this copier/printer but i'm having an issue:
with the standard Emperon Controller the color isn't pretty realistic, but all gray shades print correctly. With the efi controller (IC-406) all color are so real, but grays turns into some tonality of green. I've done an AutoCal but grays are still greens. Also I have done a complete Fiery reset, i have repeated configuration and autocal but grays are still green.
There are here any fiery specialist?
Thanks in advice an excuse for my bad english.

Hi, the copier MUST be producing the correct colors and working correctly BEFORE the fiery can be calibrated. You cannot get "good" colors if the copier is not producing them to begin with. The copier has to be fixed 1st. The fiery's main job is to maintain the same, consistant, color over a long run. It cannot make good colors from bad colors.

On most Fierys there is a setting to print black as black only instead of process black (CMYK). It might be called "black overprint" or something, don't really remember what it is called.
