    Ricoh AF3235C Reset Web Password

    Hi Guys,
Going for a longshot here but has anyone got a method of retrieving/resetting web image monitor password.

Went to install 2nd hand copier today and previous customer had changed all passwords even the overide password for the Web page access. On this model there is no service code to reset the password.

So looking like and NVRAM Reset coming up. OUCH!

Just thought some one might have a backdoor.

    Cheers

Login as supervisor (no password), then you can change the admin password.

If the supervisor account doesn't work, then you're facing an NVRAM replacement...

No more password resets from the service mode. Ricoh is making a big push to make the copiers secure from the administrative and user side. On top of that, the administrator can prevent the service tech from reaching the service modes.
