You need to go to gmail and look for the correct port to use. It is not the standard port 25. If you do not change it and verify the username/password it will not work.

Has anyone got scan to gmail to work on estudio 6530 ?
I have not had any luck , If some has, could please print screen your setup
If you still have that problem here is the "screenshoot" of a working machine.
There is a "problem" - whatever sender email address you set on the MFP always Gmail is replacing it with the gmail address when you scan out and all scans from MFP are stored within Gmail account -Sent box-(therefore any scan can be intercepted) - rising some confidentiality and legality issues.
