    Estudio 6530 scan to gmail

    Has anyone got scan to gmail to work on estudio 6530 ?
    I have not had any luck , If some has, could please print screen your setup

    You need to go to gmail and look for the correct port to use. It is not the standard port 25. If you do not change it and verify the username/password it will not work.
    And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

      Yes i have done that , this is what i am following, i must be missing something


      Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS: smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
      Use Authentication: Yes
      Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
      Port: 465 or 587
      Account Name: your full email address (including @gmail.com) Google Apps users, please enter username@your_domain.com
      Email Address: your full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com) Google Apps users, please enter username@your_domain.com
      Password: your Gmail password

        If you still have that problem here is the "screenshoot" of a working machine.
        There is a "problem" - whatever sender email address you set on the MFP always Gmail is replacing it with the gmail address when you scan out and all scans from MFP are stored within Gmail account -Sent box-(therefore any scan can be intercepted) - rising some confidentiality and legality issues.
