I need your help guys.
I'm having trouble in setting up the scan to email function of a Konica Minolta Bizhub 200 for a company. I already tried a lot of variations for the settings but still having some transmission errors. Here's the setting. The company's ISP is IT&E but their email account is on another ISP which is named MCV.
I got the following information from both ISP:
IT&E:
smtp server: smtp.ite.net
pop3 server: mail.ite.net
DNS addresses: 202.123.137.2, 202.123.137.56
username@ite.net
password
MCV:
smtp server: smtp.guam.net
pop3 server: mail.guam.net
DNS addresses: 202.128.27.2, 202.128.28.2
username@guam.net
password
My current settings:
DNS: (from IT&E) 202.123.137.2, 202.123.137.56
SMTP: (from IT&E) smtp.ite.net
SMTP authentication: username@ite.net, password
POP3: (from MCV) mail.guam.net
POP3 authentication: username@guam.net, password
I called both ISP and they said that their SMTP doesnt require any authentication so I also tried removing both usernames and passwords but still, it doesnt work.
I am getting error codes about transmission settings. (EA****)
Im sure its not a machine problem because i tried it on another machine.
I am thinking if i still need to use the other ISP's (MCV) information or just focus on the company's ISP which is IT&E because its just the smtp server address that is important. Am I right?
Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance and Godbless.
