    AF3245C Scan To Folder can't connect Win7

I'm having problem while setting up scan to folder AF3245C to a PC running Win7. The PC has been successfully connected to an AF2238C using the same method but why can't the AF3245C? Could anyone help out please?

Haven't had much to do with 7 yet. But the first thing I would check is that the user is added to both the sharing and security of the folder permissions.

Yup! Both were allowed for full control.

Are both copiers being used or did the AF3245C replace the AF2238C?
If both copiers are running are they using the same user name and password to access folder?
        This might help also

Yup, both copiers are running & its using the same username and password to access the same folder. AF2238C has successful connected but AF3245C fail to login to the folder when do browsing at the copier.

Try giving the AF3245C it's own username/password to access that folder.

The Logon credentials for that folder. Add another local user for the workstation (or add user to domain if workstation is part of a domain), then give that user permissions for that folder.
The AF2238C must have logon credentials to access that folder example name:Ricoh_scan Password:2238c
Have them setup a different credentials for the AF3245C example name:Ricoh_scan1 Password:3245c

I had try creating a new user account with a new username/password and a new shared folder with full permission but still failed to connect.

                    win 7 scanning

Had one this morning on a sharp 2700, scanning through SMB, on the machine I was working on, windows firewall had some of the inbound permissions turned off, (File and Print sharing (SMB-In)) I turned them on, also allowing edge (in the advanced tab) (since the scan is technically an unsolicited packet) plus usernaming and password in the users scan profile.
I'd check the firewall its been beefed up quite a bit.
Where the heck is my spring hook?
