Kyocera Mita 5035 c0240 code

Machine codes out with c0240 when the print board is installed.The service manual is not much help only telling me that it could be the print board or the copiers main board. Anyone have similar problem with machine that may share what needs to be done to resolve the code.The machine never completes the self test upon power up succesfully before turning my print button red and when I press it then displaying the code.

Have you upgraded the firmware on the copier?? Is it a print system U?

Check Your ram memory on the print board. There have been intermittent ram boards bad in the field.

I have seen the DIMM chip cause this code also. Try removing DIMM and re installing.

I have also had this DIMM fail and cause dead print systems but can't remember if I got a C-0240. You can order it from KMA.

Will Dimm from system V or W compatible for system U ? I have the same situation and is giving me headache FW done on machine , just Print board is in SELF TEST and after 20 sec as per manual comes with C0240 ..I got nothing to loose so I'll try to use other dimms to see whether it works or not.
