Hello all, got called out to a mp4000 at a accountancy firm, when they print an MS excel spreadsheet with about 30 pages or so the mp4000 only prints 25 of the 30 and some of the pages are in the wrong order. I printed word documents with the same amount of pages and everything is ok. they're using RPCS driver but i also tried it with PCL6 and although that driver did print the full amount of pages the first few pages were in the wrong order. All FW is up to date. Because it works ok with everything but Excel I think that the problem could be fixed by some setting on the excel files but I couldn't make it work. They also have a small laser printer in the corner that DOES print the excel files with no problems. I told the customer that the printer is ok and the problem is the excell software. If anyone has come across this problem before any advice would be most helpful. Thanks.

I guess, the only questions I have is... If you do Print Preview, are the pages out of order there as well? Also, is any print running off the page?sigpic
The first law states that energy is conserved: The change in the internal energy is equal to the amount added by heating minus the amount lost by doing work on the environment. -
Thanks for the reply unisys12, yes the print preview is all ok and the pages that do print are ok too. there's a 3rd pc , the 1 that prints ok to the small laser printer that when printing the excell docs to the mp4000 prints blank pages with only 1 or 2 words on them. One thing I did notice is when I press to print and the pages are counted off on the screen to go to the printer, when it gets to about 8 or 9 it then starts to count off really fast for some of the pages being processed then slows down again. I hope this makes sense and you understand what i'm trying to say. I spoke to someone with quite a lot of IT experience with connecting ricohs and he said tell them your network support and not software support LOL.Comment
