I have the same controller. My hard drive has a problem bring up xp up. I was going to try and reload xp. You are correct that the fiery software is also on the disk. If I have to get a new drive I will need xp and the fiery software.

What you need is a restore (reimage) disk for the controller; you can't separate the OS from the Fiery software.

If you have another controller available to you, you can create an image of that controller using something such as Acronis or Ghost. Once you have an image, you can then re-image your existing HDD or a new one. Once you have the image, this will save a lot of time trying install the Fiery System Software.

os is included in system sw i have formated the drive and installed 1.1 version and it works fine, also added patch to 1.1a and every thing is fine. I tried 2.0 over 1.1 and on formated one and it's same, every thing works but when I print I get flushed job with that error no supported finisher installed.

Well, my image of the HDD is about 29GB so I doubt any one would be able to send you one.

The system restore disks are smaller, but still about 3GB from memory.

If you look further around this forum, there is a password recovery file for Fiery's. You basically send it to the correct queue (direct from memory) and the Fiery should pass a print job with the password printed in plain text.
