For more information about AT&T's SMTP requirements, please visit the AT&T help center or contact AT&T DSL support at 877-SBC-DSL5 (877-722-3755) or AT&T DIAL support at 866-SBC-DIAL (866-722-3425).

Thanks for the advice RudyNYC, but I’ve contacted AT&T and their SMTP requirements are not compatible with the machine's capabilities. AT&T want customers to use their SMTP server for all outgoing mail, which requires SSL and the Ricoh machine does not support SSL.

      Any other suggestions?

Yeah they won't give you the NONSSL Ports. AT&T are some $@#ts. Try this. These work for me 90% of the time. I am in Texas, so hopefully they will work for you.

        smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
        smtp port: 25
        SMTP Authentication On
        SMTP Auth Encryption: Auto Select

        pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
        POP/Imap4 Encryption: Auto Select
        pop port: 110

We sometimes let them bounce the emails off our SMTP server in house. We have an account set up for testing and temporary use. We haven't had to use it full time for any accounts, but there's always that option.
