E-studio 200 not connecting to network

I have a linksys dsl router. Contacted there tech support and they said the router is working correctly, but the copier is not connecting to the network.
I am needing help to figure out why my copier is not connecting to my computer network.
The copier printer print out says the following:
    Novell Network - Enabled
    Print server name; mfp_159346
    password: no
    frame type - 802.2 on 802.3

Peer to peer info - enabled
    frame type - 802.2 on 802.3

    TCP/IP Network info - enabled
Frame type: ethernet II Protocol address 192.168.123.102
    Submask; 255.255.255.0 Default gateway 192.168.123.254
    DND Address 10.0.0.1
    Wins Name not registered

    IPP Network info - Enabled
    internet priniting protocol -- http://192.168.123.102:631/print

    appletalk network - disbled

I have tried pinging the copier and all I get is request timed out. packets sent=4, received=0

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks Scott

When you are at a command prompt and type: "ipconfig /all", what info do you get?

DND(?) 10.0.0.1, could that be DNS? Probably doesn't matter since you get request timed out instead of "destination host unreachable" though. Most copiers need rebooted when given a new ip and given 60-90 seconds after fully booting up before they start talking on the network. Its possible it can't auto-negotiate the LAN speed and need to lock in 100 half duplex should be safe.

If you set the copier up for DHCP does it pull an IP? Did someone give you those IP/subnet/gateway or did you get those yourself?

I believe the IP settings were on the copier already from the person I bought it from.

      I appreciate your help.

      Thanks Scott

If the first is the machine info and the second the computer info then they do not match..
Change the copier to something like 192.168.1.200 (ip address) and the gateway to 192.168.1.1 and see if that works.
Also does the copier have device near the nic card that looks like a thumbdrive? If not then you will not be able to print to it.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

I bought the copier back in December, and it has been printing my invoices from quickbooks just fine. It just stopped printing the invoices about two weeks ago for some reason. Thought my router went bad, replaced it yesterday, still not working.
