    Canon IRC1022i Network help

Hey Guys can someone please help me out. I have been trying to network the Canon IRC1002i with no luck. computers and Printer is all hooked to the switch. I get lights(leds) activity and all. I have chosen both assigned IP on IPV4 and automatic obtain IPs on the system but i still can't ping and locate the printer. I have read the manual over and over again but i still can't the darn thing work. Can anyone suggest something? Thanks

All Canon's require the main power switch to be turned off/on before and settings take effect. Then most have a 60 second delay before responding to any network activity.

We had a few that didn't have the print kit installed that had similar symptoms you are describing.
They had the Network Interface Adapter E11, but did not have the PCL print kit M1. I'm not sure what comes standard with the 1022i but can you check to sure everything was installed correctly?

Are your workstations set with static IP's?

Are they obtaining automatically from your network?

Have you tried connecting directly with a crossover cable?
