reset password Lanier LD015

Hi. I bought a Lanier 015 in an auction and need to reset the admin password.
Ttrying to get in using the web interface. The default password of blank password does not work.

Log in as "supervisor" (no quotes; lower case), with no password.

Your only available function will be to reset the admin password.

You can then log out and log in as admin.

If the supervisor password has been changed, you're SOL, and will most likely need to replace a board or two.

The defaults are:

Username: admin
Password:

If the defaults have been changed there is a backdoor to modify the admin settings. You can use the following if you have to:

Username: supervisor
Password:

The supervisor account can only alter the admin passwords. If the backdoor is password protected you may be in for an NVRAM replacement.

Thanks for the quick response to both of you. I was able to guess the admin password but not the supervisor password.

I realize that this an older thread, but just had to research this for my own LD015, that I could not get into, and this is what I found in a different forum, and that worked for me....


For those of you that need this information, the default administrator password for the Lanier Printer LD015 is as follows:

Username: Administrator

Password: password
