Old question- New Forum - Ricoh to MAC connectivity

Ricoh Aficio 3506/E7000 to MAC Printing Issues
Client was originally attached to a PC but has since moved to a MAC environment. but can no longer print directly from any application software. All printing now is too labor intensive since it all has to be sent to the command workstation before sending the print command. Client wants to know if this is MAC specific or if he can go back to working directly from the print command within the software applications. Any input would be helpful as I am predominantly PC with almost no exposure to Macs Thought it might be in the que name for the fiery unit but tried the ones that I know have worked....and they don't.
    Thanks in advance

just a question, are you sure, that there is a e7000 connected to a 3506?... if i remember correctly, there was the e310 attached to the 3506. You will find the drivers here:

print, hold, and direct are the only queue names for fiery. Make sure LPR is "on" on the Fiery and at least the "print" queue is published. Hold and direct can be set to do not publish.
I haven't had much luck setting up Mac drivers under more printers and choosing IP Printing or IPP. Choosing IP printer then LPD seems to work the best, then point it to the PPD. I've had success leaving the queue blank or just putting print ( all lower case).
