Is anyone having problems scanning to e-mail using Frontier as the isp. They recently took over verizon in my area and things are a mess. Can't get a relay test to work or scan to e-mail to work either. Any information would be appreciated!

If they did what Telus here did and blocked email forwarding through their server, you may have to find an alternate port to use.
Typically the email SMTP was port 25. We've used 587 as an alternative, though I cannot say if that port will work in your case. Cannot hurt to try it.
More information on this here...

The customer may have to change to a business account with the carrier. As in my example with Telus, they have several different account types with DSL. The business one is the only one that has open ports, for allowing them to use an internal exchange server or their own on site web server for example. Most home based accounts, the ISPs discourage this by port blocking.
You may have to contact the customer support of the ISP directly for a solution.
And having a thought, but it is entirely possible that you may be having problems regarding DNS entries, or a different email server address entirely."Many years ago I chased a woman for almost two years, only to discover that her tastes were exactly like mine: we both were crazy about girls."
