    windows 7 & Canon IR c3220 printer connection

    I installed the PCL driver on a windows 7 driver. set to raw, snmp, port 9100, confirmed ip address. I can ping the unit but can't test print. Any help?

    Did you grab the correct driver??? You have to grab the correct model (ie 3200 or 3220) and make sure that you installed the 32bit or 64bit version on the windows 7 PC.
    Also are you 100% that it has the multi-pdl kit installed for printing?

        Set it to LPD and name the Printer Queue "print" (without the quotation marks)

            On the machine hit the counter check button>then device configuration>On page 2 it should say UFR & PLC/PS for the internal print kit. If not then you should have a box hanging off the back of the machine which would be an imagepass C1 or C2 for printing.
            Also I would verify that the IP schemes match between the PC and the machine and take a laptop if you have one and connect with a crossover cable to see if you can get it to print that way.

              correct me if i'm wrong, but couldn't you still print to one of these models with a UFR driver even without a PDL kit?

                Did u use PCL5c? I don;t believe 3200 can run PCL6. Also try PS, it should be default on C3200.
