    scan to e-mail

    i am working on a nashuatech mp200 setting up scan to mail previously it was working fine but they formatted thier sever and changed thier domain name. so even with the new e-mail's setup i can't seem to make scan to e-mail work........any ideas?

    Perhaps they are now using authentication for email transactions and your machine now requires an account with a username and password on the domain? If they have some network support available, preferably the people who set it all up, you may need to get in touch to confirm the details of the new configuration.

      They might have also changed the port number. The standard SMTP port is 25 but many now use 587 or 465.

        Did they upgrade the email server? Say from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 or 2010?
