    W7 Home Premium, files and folders not accessible...., Lock Symbol.

    W7 Home Premium, files and folders not accessible...., Lock Symbol.

    How in heaven can I remove the Lock Symbol of certain folders in W7.
    Is there any tutorial covering the whole mess of folder and files sharing, taking ownership etc?

      If you are trying to access them from another computer, win7 home will not share to the network. Need win7 pro or enterprise.

          How is the network defined? Unless the network connection is set up as a work or home account, file sharing is disabled.
