    KM 4850w Scanning Issues

So at my work we have a Kyocera Mita 4850 Wide Format scanner/printer. It is hooked up to the network here so me and multiple other people in my office can print to it. But when I go to set up the scanner portion of the machine I come across difficulties. I access the scanners web format manager through the IP address on the internet and when I go to set up users and their IP addresses it doesn't take them. I enter in the user name, correct IP address, save number, and click enter but it does not register anything. The enter button dips down and highlights like it's done something but nothing pops up in the list of users. It just sits there and acts like I've done nothing. So if anyone has some input into what may be causing my problem I'm all ears.

    Thanks

Had almost the same issue. could not change the network settings. everytime you set it up, looks like its working. after it reboots the setting go back to the ones that were in originally.

solution: ended up having to replace the HDD for the controller.

      Good Luck

using IE8 ive had problems putting information into machines on certain models using the web interface...same scenario you would put all the information in and click submit and IE8 wouldnt allow some of the code from the page to run and it would just bounce back to the previous screen without any information in. I just tell people to use firefox or opera now to avoid any problems
