Do you have 2 networtks in you location? it would be easier if you have all your clients on the same network. if they are separated for a good reason (two different organizations) then you could use a usb print server for the other network to print from.

What are the netmask and gateway settings of: 1 the copier, 2 pc in 192.168.0.x range, 3 pc in 192.168.1.x range.

Are both sub nets using the same gateway? The 192.168.0.XXX and the 192.168.1.XXX ?

And from the IR2270 can you ping that gateway?
        Yes, I am a nerd.

Can a computer on the 192.168.0.xxx range talk to a computer on the 192.168.1.xxx range?

If so, take note of the subnet mask and gateway address when doing the following on one of the computers:

          1. Start
          2. Run
          3. cmd
          4. Ok
          5. ipconfig
          6. Enter

This will display the basic IP information of the computer.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

It sounds like you are using the wrong subnet address. If they are on the same switch/router set everyone to 255.255.0.0 and it should work.

If you have 255.255.255.0 what you are telling the workstations is that everyone on the network has the same address for the 1st 3 octets and they need to look on the other side of a gateway for a different address. By setting the subnet to 255.255.0.0 you are telling everyone that they will be able to find any 192.168.xxx.xxx address on their side of the router.

Excuse me if you're knowledge is past this point, but is the copier ps enabled and which driver ae you using? If it isn't ps enabled, use the UFRII driver.
