Problem With Mac OS and Konica copiers

I have several workstations that are using mac OS 10.6 and bizhub421 and bizhub600 both with account track turned on, and the macs seem to have a problem printing to the copiers. I can ping the copiers and can browse to them using IE. the PC's in the office have no problems. I am also getting a message "busy retry again in x number of seconds" Any ideas??

How are you printing to these devices from the Mac's?

Are you using Bonjour, IP, AppleTalk?

I would recommend using the following to setup the driver with the Mac environment:

    1. Always use direct IP Printing to the device.
    2. Within IP Printing, make sure you use HP JetDirect Socket (Apple's term for RAW Port 9100)
    3. Make sure that you aren't using the 'Generic Postscript' driver.
    4. If you have account codes or user authentication, make sure that you create a 'Preset' for the client as inputing this every print job can become tiresome.

As for the account codes, I think they are found under the 'Printer Features' drop down which then opens up another whole heap of options.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
