    Toshiba 4511 Re-Rite program

    Hello all,
I'm new here and I own a Toshiba 4511 Copier. I want to go digital and be able to scan all my documents into my server rename the files. Currently right now it scan and save in the copier as DOC, time and date. I have try to rename the file but I do not have permission.

I have did some research and I found that Toshiba has a program call RE-RITE. Does anyone know where I can purchase this program and how much would it be? There is not pricing on their site. Or this program come with the printer or can be download?

    Any answer would be helpful.

    Thank you All.

You can purchase it from any authorized Toshiba dealer.

        Re: Toshiba 4511 Re-Rite program

Re-rite came free with many Toshibas, not the best OCR engine in the world. Be careful geting it from a 3rd party as once it is registered it can't be used anywhere else until it is un registered with Toshiba. My personal opinion of re-rite is it was a good "free" OCR engine. If you need an OCR program, get something you can run on your PC like Acrobat, or omni-page, then use the MFP only to scan the image. The 4511 was a pretty crappy scanner anyway..garbage in garbage out. Emujo
