Sharp arm450 help pls : )

Hi,
so I am totally new at this, but can anyone help??

I have a sharp arm450 that I am trying to hook to my computer for printing. I have changed the ip address on the sharp and when i ping from my computer it answers so now I am not sure why it won't print?? does anyone know all the correct settings when I go to "add a printer"?? thanks

add a local printer[not a network one as counter-intuitive as that may be],
create a new port, standard tcp/ip, enter the IP address of the MFP in the top window
generic card ok on the next screen, click finish
then click on the Have Disk button on the printer selection screen
browse to the files you have downloaded for this model from the manufacturer...go for PCL as PS is an option and not all MFPs have them.

once the printer has been added,
right-click on the printer icon
click on the Properties item at the bottom of the screen
click on the Configuration tab, top right
click on the Auto Configuration button on the right of the screen.
now the MFP picture and options should be correct.
If not, manually set the options you have on the MFP
