Scan to E-Mail (Server connectivity error) Konica BIZHUB 600

    Hello Copytechnet forum members,

I'm new to this forum and I've looked through and searched for a coupe articles relating to my issue but wasen't able to find a solution that worked. Yesterday users at one of our building in our school district we're unable to print to the normal BIZHUB 600, after we figured it wasen't a server issue and settings always worked automatically we manually put in the ip address, etc... Which seemed to fix the issue. The next day we got a complaint that scan to e-mail wasen't working, they all have accounts in the "address book" and it scans the document and goes to an error with no delay, when you look up the error it says un-able to connect to server. So I manually put in the ip address of the exchange server under the SMTP settings and it still doesn't work, have tried a reboot. DNS is left blank under network settings which should matter as we gave it the IP address for exchange server right? I cannot find any logs on the exchange server either, I even fixed the time on the BIZHUB. Any ideas? This worked last week fine for everyone. Thanks!

Check the password to the server and the email address. This sounds like the password expired or got changed and they did not update the machine.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

      Resolved

Just found out from my other tech. that fixed the issue that the machine itself needs a mail address/e-mail account to be able to send mail without automatically creating a fail.

Thanks for your help ^^ (Hope this saves someone else some time)
