    PDF Printing

    Hi All,

I have a customer with a ricoh mp1600 with only one standard tray and bypass tray which is set up for A3. Problem is when the customer prints A3 pdf documents the machine comes up with a mismatch error.Bypass tray is set for A3 when you manually select A3 in the driver properties its fine.Auto continue is switched on the mfd.Question is is there anyway it can be set that it automatically detects the paper size without the error when printing pdf documents

When you say that the bypass is set up for A3 you are saying that you manually set up the settings of the bypass tray?
I ask you that because i think that this model do not have a sensor on the bypass tray that automatically reads the settings of the paper.

There is a setting in the user tools->system(?)->printer features-> bypass setting that can be toggled between driver/command. I've had some luck changing this.
