SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin V8 with other manufactures

Would like to know if SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin V8 Software is compatible on any Sharp MX products .

I would like to copy a Ricoh's address book with over 200 users and save as a CSV file. Then place the addresses into a customers New Sharp MX product.

As SmartDeviceMonitor is Ricoh's own software i wondered if it would work on other manufactures. If not does anyone know how you can copy a Ricoh address book and import it to a Sharp machine.

Sorry, but you won't be able to import the csv file from a Ricoh into a Sharp. Most manufacturers have their own format for the address books. I've ran into this several times where the csv file from the old Ricoh going out isn't compatible with the new Ricoh going in. Best to print out the address book and get ready to do a lot of typing (200 entries!!).

Smartnet monitor is one of the better management programs. It will find all the devices on the network and give you general info about non-Ricoh devices. It will give you a link to launch the Sharp's web interface but not much else. It does give more info than Canon Netspot or HP jetadmin from what I've seen.
